Record-breaking pop super group made up of 5 talents from around the world. Smooth melodic harmonies and power packed vocals. The band was formed in 2012 as part of a radio competition in New ZealandThe country sort out to find the best of the best to create what is now TITANIUM. After forming they released their first single “Come On Home” which went number one in its first week of release on the NZ charts and went on to gain double platinum status. They then became the first artists in NZ history to have three official singles in the top 40 at the same time (Number 1,2 &3) They have since released 2 albums both gold status and seven singles, opening for various artists such as Mariah Carey, Jason Derulo and Will I Am.
Zac Taylor was born is from Whakatane, New Zealand half Singaporean. Prior to his audition for The Edge competition he traveled to Orlando, Florida to sing at the Voice of McDonald’s finals in early 2012 and has been singing all his life and has been apart of musical theatre.
Taku (TK) Paradza is originally from Zimbabwe and lived in Wellington, New Zealand. Before joining the boy band, he was studying Information systems at university.
Shaquille Paranihi Ngauma
Shaquille Paranihi-Ngauma is from Gisborne and lived in Hamilton, New Zealand. Paranihi-Ngauma was studying Music at Wintec prior to his decision to audition for The Edge boy band.
Haydn Linsley is originally from Bristol, England and lived in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Before joining the boy band he was a full-time student and part-time barista. Linsley’s grandfather is Tony Hatch, composer of the Neighbours theme tune and Petula Clark’s “Downtown” among many others.
